Haad Son Beach Resort

Khaoluk is located about 50 kilometres north of Koh Phuket Island on the mainland in Phang Nga province. Most of its sandy beaches stretch from the Khao Lak-Lumru National Park in the South for about 20 kilometres northwards, starting with Sunset Beach, Nang-Thong Beach, Bang Niang Beach, Khukkak Beach, Pak Wib Beach and Bangsak Beach in the very North. A single beach, namely Khao Lak Beach is located south of and adjacent to Khaolak Lamru National Park.

Bang Sak Beach, is for most of its length without any bungalow or resort offering Khao Luk accommodation. Only the part south of Tup Tawan Cape, where an all weather road runs parallel to Bangsak Beach attracts visitors with an array of small beach-side restaurants during the weekends. A small fitness park complements Haadson Resort offering the only Bang Sak bungalows now. The old tin mining town of Takuapa is about 10 kilometres further on.

Khao Lak is spelled in many different ways like Ko Lak, Khaolak, Khao Lack, Khao Luk, Kho Lak, Khao Lac, Kau Lak, Kao Lak, Kau Lac, Khao-Lak, Kao Lak, Kao Luk, Kao Lac, Kao Lack and Khaoluk.
